Where Connection Begins

Teens today more than ever are falling out of the system. They are creating a counter culture where they are accepted and are free to live life on their terms. As technology increases they sink deeper into their own world with every conceivable desire at their fingertips. They are growing evermore apathetic to their families, communities, religion, and life in general. Behind the tough exterior, they are kids in pain yearning to be loved and accepted. They are dying to belong. Untempered they descend into addictions, depression, dangerous, and criminal activity. To counter this, we need to change our viewpoint and see the world through their eyes. We need to develop and train a staff that can connect with them and foster honest, reliable relationships. Gavz is that solution. Gavz staff are men and women adept at relating to teens in a way that fosters trust and growth. With specific specialized programming we can create catalysts that will enable a teen to retake the reigns of his or her life. It is more than making them feel good and accepted. It is creating the opportunity and means by which they can retake their lives and build their futures. Gavz is the means to engender positive growth in our youth.
